Overview

Introduction:

ISO 45001 represents an internationally recognized framework that replaces OHSAS 18001 while maintaining a core focus on improving occupational health and safety performance within organizational environments. The standard supports integration with other management system standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 through aligned structures and unified governance approaches. It extends beyond internal safety considerations to include expectations from wider society, contractors, suppliers, and surrounding communities within organizational accountability systems. This training program presents safety management frameworks, hazard control models, risk assessment structures, and performance systems that define occupational health and safety governance under ISO 45001.

Program Objectives:

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze safety management system frameworks and regulatory structures within ISO 45001 environments.

  • Evaluate major hazard control models and safety governance frameworks within industrial contexts.

  • Assess risk assessment structures and operational safety evaluation systems.

  • Examine performance measurement frameworks and safety culture systems within organizations.

  • Explore HSE planning structures and project based safety governance systems.

Target Audience:

  • Health and safety professionals.

  • Production, process, mechanical, control, and maintenance personnel.

  • Project professionals and engineers.

  • Personnel involved in the preparation of safety reports.

  • Compliance and risk management specialists.
